A Day In The Anti-Life - Royal Decrees!

I've always remembered the stupendous page above from the pages of the delightful and sadly defunct Fantastic Four series. This is from the story sequence in which Doctor Doom captures the Fab 4 and holds them as "Prisoners" of sorts inside his Lateverian "Village". I thought of this Kirby rendition of  self-absorbed self-aggrandizement when I first saw our Prevaricator-In-Chief's first Cabinet meeting yesterday.

I have nothing else to say about this gobsmacking ass-kissing spectacle. If you've not seen it, just watch the video (this is an edited version...believe it or not it went on much much longer).

If you need to cleanse your essence after all that insincere schmaltz, then give this off-the-cuff parody from Chucky Schumer a try.

As one fictional monarch once remarked "Sufferin' Shad!"

  1. Like a bad Super Friends episode, meet: The Legion of Sycophantic White Millionaire Swine.

    1. There was really something fundamentally repulsive about this display and something which I sincerely felt really not really American. We're famous (at least in myth) for an independent spirit and this was just the reverse. Cringe worthy at the very least.

  2. Just when you think Trump has hit bottom he finds another new low. The man is completely delusional, he thinks no one but FDR did more in such a short amount of time. He's done NOTHING!

    1. Sadly the dirty secret on these mopes is what they undo, like the Dodd-Frank Protections, which everyone at the time considered weak as crap. Now they soon will be no more. Sheesh!

  3. In January our Prime-Minister, Theresa May, invited Trump to come to the UK on a state visit later this year. But now Trump has said he's not coming because of all the protests he would face. He said he would visit only when "the British people want me to come"...er, that'll be never as a recent poll showed 80% of the public think he's a bad president. But hapless Theresa is probably relieved that Trump has abandoned his visit - after her party's terrible performance in last week's UK general election she has enough problems without a massively unpopular and controversial Trump state visit as well.

    1. Please say he can come. Things are much quieter here when he's out of the country. Please! (You can keep him if you want -- team him up with Lord Buckethead perhaps.)
